Oaktree Financial Services Celebrates 15 Years in Business with €22,000 Charity Gala Ball for EDCC and Cork ARC

by | Dec 17, 2025 | News

Oaktree Financial Services proudly marked its 15th anniversary by hosting a special charity gala ball, raising an impressive €22,000 in support of Eating Disorder Centre Cork (EDCC) and Cork ARC Cancer Support House, with proceeds split equally between the two organisations.

The milestone event celebrated not only 15 years in business but also Oaktree Financial Services’ enduring commitment to the local community and to the clients who have placed their trust in the firm over the years. Since its establishment, Oaktree Financial Services has worked closely with individuals, families, and businesses, providing trusted financial advice focused on long-term planning, protection, and financial peace of mind.

Oaktree Financial Services is led by Directors Adrian Godwin and Tracy Sumstad, who have guided the firm’s growth over the past 15 years while maintaining a strong focus on client relationships and community involvement.

Speaking on the occasion, Adrian Godwin, Managing Director at Oaktree Financial Services, said:

“Celebrating 15 years in business is a moment of enormous pride for us. Everything we do is built on trust — trust from our clients, trust from our community, and trust earned over time through doing the right thing. To mark this milestone by giving something back, alongside the people who have supported us on our journey, made the evening particularly special.”

The charity gala ball was made possible through the exceptional generosity of Oaktree Financial Services’ sponsors, clients, colleagues, and the wider community. Their support through attendance, sponsorship, and donations played a vital role in achieving such a meaningful fundraising total. Oaktree Financial Services wish to acknowledge the main sponsor of the event Sentinel Computers Ltd whose commitment and goodwill played a key role in the success of the anniversary charity gala ball.

Oaktree Financial Services was genuinely touched by the warmth, enthusiasm, and goodwill shown throughout the evening, with clients, colleagues, friends, and community partners coming together to mark 15 years in business and to support causes that truly matter —reinforcing the belief that real success is measured by the positive impact made along the way.

Commenting on the support received, Stephen Teap, CEO of Cork ARC Cancer Support House, said:

“We are incredibly grateful to Oaktree Financial Services and everyone involved in this wonderful event. The funds raised will make a real difference to the people and families who rely on Cork ARC’s services.”

Anne Gaynor, Clinical Director at Eating Disorder Centre Cork, added:

“The generosity shown through this charity gala ball is deeply appreciated. These funds will directly support our work with individuals and families affected by eating disorders.”
